The Apartment

Perfectly placed within Krakow’s Old Town, the aptly named 1950s Apartment provides a central spot for guests to rest their heads in between sightseeing. The 13th-century Old Town was named a UNESCO World Heritage site back in 1978 thanks to its myriad of palaces, churches and historical buildings. Among the many sights within a short walk of the apartment include the 14th-century Wawel Castle, the Cloth Hall within the main market square, and the Cathedral.

For history enthusiasts, there are a variety of tours available for short afternoon trips or days out. Walking tours of the Jewish Quarter give a sense of the vibrant community before the Second World War, while the grand Wieliczka Salt Mine is a 20-minute drive away. Day trips also give guests the chance to visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial and museum.

• Perched on the forth floor of the building, the apartment features a bedroom with a king-size bed, as well as views across to Wawel Castle. Colourful 1950s wallpaper, lamp shades and furniture ensure the apartment lives up to its name.

• French doors within the lounge open up to an Old Town view, and includes a double sofa bed and space for up to four people to dine. There’s also a shower room complete with essential hairdryer.

• The contemporary kitchen features everything needed to rustle up a meal, including an induction hob, a fridge, toaster, kettle and a double ceramic sink.

• Two extra guests may stay for a £25 surcharge per person. One dog can stay for a £20 surcharge; two dogs for £28 and three dogs for £36.
