The Experience

Untravelled Paths provides travellers with the chance to discover Romania’s cultural treasures in Sinaia, Brasov and Bran. The unspoiled landscape of Transylvania has been alluring holidaymakers from all around the world with rustic log cabins, peaceful villages, and wildlife. 

Guests will have the opportunity to step into the lore and legends of Transylvania by visiting Bran Castle, the mystical lair of Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula. The narrow stairways of the castle lead through some 60 timbered rooms, connected by underground passages, which house collections of weapons and armour dating from the 14th to the 19th centuries. 

In the Romanian capital, Bucharest, guests may visit the largest civilian building with an administrative function in the world, Ceausescu’s People’s Palace, and a wealth of high-end shopping centres and quality restaurants.

3 Night Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival at Sibiu airport. Private transfer to the hotel where guests will be greeted with coffee or glass of wine. Free time.

  • Day 2: Transfer to the medieval town of Sighisoara. Visit to Bran Castle (Dracula Castle). Transfers to Brasov and overnight stay

  • Day 3: Cable car ride through the Fagaras Mountains to Balea Lake and The Ice Hotel. Snow-based activities and Tunnel Trek. Ice Hotel dining experience and drinks at the Sub Zero Ice Bar (optional dinner and drinks, need to pay locally, not included in the voucher). Overnight stay at The Ice Hotel

  • Day 4: Transfers to Sibiu airport. Flight home.

4 Night Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Bucharest. Private transfer to the hotel where guests will be greeted with coffee or glass of wine. Visit to old town

  • Day 2: Transfer to Transylvania via Sinaia. Visit to the Peles Castle. Transfer to Brasov and overnight stay

Breakfast is included throughout, and breakfast at the Ice Hotel will be at the Cabana Balea Lac by the Ice Hotel.
