The Vuyani Safari Lodge

Set within 36,000 acres of unspoilt African bush land, the Moditlo Private Game Reserve is a sanctuary of Africa’s Big Five: lions, elephants, cape buffaloes, leopards and rhinoceros. Holidaymakers have the opportunity to observe these majestic creatures up-close in a protected, natural environment on special safaris, guided by expert rangers known for their tracking abilities. Located at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains, the reserve is one of the richest biodiversity areas in Africa. With 400 species of birds and endangered species, such as the ground-hornbill, the African wild dog and brown hyena, this game reserve is a suitable spot for enjoying an exciting safari adventure and learn about African wildlife. Customers will enjoy two daily off-road safaris, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon going into the night. Each safari lasts 3-3.5 hours.

Situated half way between the Orpen and Phalaborwa gates of the Kruger National Park, the bush town of Hoedspruit meets endless plains or marula, acacia, combretum and mopane woodlands.
