The Hotels
Situated in the heart of Reykjavik, Metropolitan Hotel is nestled on a peaceful street just a short walk from Ingolfstorg Square and numerous dining and shopping venues. Cultural attractions and Iceland’s stunning landscapes can be also easily reached from the place. In their rooms, guests can take advantage of TVs, working desks and radios.

The Northern Lights Tour
Visitors are invited to take part in a unique experience which happens at night time in the Northern Hemisphere and can be seen on dark winter nights. One of nature’s most spectacular displays appears in the sky in the form of different shapes, proportions and patterns, known as the Northern Lights.

Please note: the Northern Lights in Iceland are visible only during the winter months, from Sep to Apr, and sightings are not guaranteed. However, if customers don‘t see any Northern Lights during the tour, they are welcome to join the tour again, free of charge, on another night. For this reason, we recommend booking your Northern Lights tour for early-on in your trip, in case it needs to be rescheduled.
Golden Circle Tour
Travellers are invited to see Iceland’s natural phenomena including hot springs, waterfalls as well as the country’s best-known historical sites. The tour starts with a visit to The Geysir geothermal area, the most active hot spring Strokkur is spouting steaming water up to 30 meters into the air every 8 minutes. Gullfoss, or the “Golden Falls“, is an iconic waterfall of Iceland, located in the glacial river Hvítá. The water plummets in two steps down into the 32 meters deep crevice. Highlights also include a visit to Þingvellir National Park, a historical and geological wonder, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year.

Iceland Secret Lagoon Admission
Enjoy a leisurely swim in the Secret Lagoon, one of the oldest natural geothermal pools in Iceland. Relax in the warm, mineral-rich waters, surrounded by bubbling hot springs and a small erupting geyser.
Whale Watching Tour
This tour provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy a boat ride in search of whales swimming close to the Icelandic coastline. Some of the whale types that can be spotted include Minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and humpback whales. Seeing all the species is not guaranteed, but the crew on board will do their best to ensure a unique journey.

Groupon’s Guide To Reykjavik
One of the safest and cleanest cities of modern times, Reykjavik is located on the south-western coast of Iceland and it is also the world’s northernmost capital city.
With more than 100 pubs and clubs, many of them found on Laugavegur Street, a wide choice of beers, Iceland’s drink of choice since 1989, are available for sampling. An iconic landmark of the city, the looming Hallgrimskirkja Church offers visitors panoramic views of the city.
