The Race
Winding a rubber-burning route through the streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine, the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix is one of the most glamorous events on the auto-racing calendar. 120,000 onlookers join up to spot the world’s greatest drivers as they put their steering skills to the test across tricky hairpins, tight tunnels, and exhilarating shifts in elevation. Watching the action from the Rocher area, motor fans can cheer racers across the finish line before taking some time to soak up the atmosphere, dine in top-class restaurants, and explore Monaco’s famous yachting marina and casinos.

Grandstands Details
- Located near the Royal Palace and the Cathedral, Sector Rocher offers standard views over the race. Please note that while good views may be possible, views may also be restricted. The sector is not advised for people with mobility problems.
- Located in Monaco’s harbour centre, Grandstands P and T seats are accessible via walkway or by boat and offer first class views of the race. The seats also include a big screen TV for enjoying the race in any part of the circuit. The location opposite the pits also places the spectator in the heat of the action, with a view of the mechanics at work during and after the race.
- Grandstand Z is located on the short straight between the Nouvelle Chicane and the Tabac Corner and does not include a big screen TV. The Z1 terrace has unnumbered seating therefore guests are advised to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.
- Cafe De Paris is located between luxurious surroundings and includes a lunch and half of bottle of wine.
- Fairmont Hotel offers track-side views and is located at the famous hairpin in the section of the track between Casino Square and the tunnel. Travellers opting for this upgrade may experience the race from the terrace enjoying refreshing tipples.
- The Midi Terrace in the Hotel Hermitage provides views from a terrace, while watchers may enjoy afternoon drinks including champagne, beers and fine wines (served between 11am-2pm). A giant screen opposite the terrace helps guests to keep abreast of all the racing around the circuit. Includes afternoon drinks package of champagne, beers, fine wines and soft drinks. Large outdoor screens directly opposite the viewing area (until approx. 4pm)
