Viburnum x Bodnantense “Dawn”

Sarcococca Winter Gem

• During winter, this compact, hardy evergreen shrub is smothered in white flowers, each one emerging from a deep-red bud and although small, will continue all spring until April.
• Boasting similar attributes to Box, hence its common name ‘Christmas Box’, it can be used in the same way as small hedges and pruned into shape as topiary. However, Sarcococca has an additional perk over the common box, an intoxicating heady fragrance that lasts up to 3 months
