The Chemical Brothers head to All Points East, bringing all of their greatest hits; the line-up also includes Hot Chip and Primal Scream
This May The Chemical Brothers headline the first day of the first weekend of All Points East, a massive music festival held at Victoria Park. Formed in 1989 in Manchester, the band blends trip hop, techno and house, exploring the bottomless potential of electronic music across the nine studio albums they have released so far. Their greatest hits include C-h-e-m-i-c-a-l, Hey Boy Hey Girl, Galvanize and Block Rockin’ Beats. Having performed at a number of major music festivals, including Glastonbury and Fuji Rock, the group turns their gigs into multisensory experiences with screens displaying psychedelic images, strobe lights and lasers. Apart from The Chemical Brothers, 24 May at All Points East will also see Hot Chip, Primal Scream and John Hopkins, among others.
