The Wedding Singer
The Sunderland Empire Theatre plays host to The Wedding Singer musical this February. Set in New Jersey of the 1980s, the show tells the story of a wannabe rock star, and a professional wedding performer, Robbie Hart. Left at the altar by his fiancée, Robbie decides to make every wedding as disastrous as his own until Julia, a winsome waitress, wins his affection. Based on the book by Chad Beguelin and Tim Herlihy, the performance is packed with songs and dance, and was directed and choreographed by Nick Winston.

Ticket line opening hours: Mon-Sat 9am-8pm and Sun 10am-6pm. Booking well in advance is advised - minimum of 24 hours before the performance.
2. Present printed voucher at box office in exchange for ticket no later than 1 hour before the performance. Customers who have not booked in advance of their arrival at the venue box office cannot be guaranteed entry.
Purchase: May buy 9 additional as gifts. Groups wishing to sit together must have one person purchasing all tickets for the group.
