The Game

The famous black and white hoops of the Barbarians are set to grace Kingsholm once again as the invitational side play Gloucester Rugby on the evening of Tuesday 17 November. It will be the third time that the Barbarians have played at Kingsholm in the past few years, and players who have already signed up for the invitational side include the Springboks Bakkies Botha, Pat Lambie, Victor Matfield, Tendai Mtawarira and Jean de Villiers. In the case of Botha and Matfield, both of whom have already announced their retirements, it will be a final opportunity to see them play in the UK as they look to sign off on a winning note. More star names are set to be confirmed in the next few weeks, as well as the make-up of the Baa-Baas coaching staff.
