- All individuals over the age of 4 need a Festival ticket to enter the grounds. If you are racing, your race ticket also provides your individual festival entry. All parents of BG Kids racers will also need festival tickets to accompany the child.

Bear Grylls Survival Race and Family Festival
Driven by the desire to encourage more families to get outdoors, engage in physical activities and answer the call of the wild, Bear Grylls’ crew are hosting a festival that will include live music, exciting entertainment, children play areas, gourmet pop-ups and licensed bars. The festival is a family day out packed with activities, free festival challenges for all ages as well as a Bear Grylls survival academy, exotic animals, and archery tag to name a few. On the 30 September, Bear Grylls himself will be attending the show, when the five-kilometre and ten-kilometre races will take place. Survivors receive a T-shirt, medal, headband, and entry to the BG Outdoor Festival.
