Founded in 2005 by the dynamic duo Biliana and Kiril Kirilov, Big Kid Circus is not just a spectacle; it's a legacy in the making. Biliana, the fearless first-timer, and Kiril, a second-generation circus maestro, found love under the circus lights and decided to craft their destiny together.

Biliana's journey began at the tender age of 13, taking her talents to Cuba, USSR, Italy, and Greece, captivating audiences with mesmerizing circus skills and acrobatics. Meanwhile, Kiril, a top-of-the-class graduate, joined the circus family fatefully. Together, they've orchestrated 16 unforgettable annual tours in the UK, creating memories for families that last a lifetime.

In 1999, this dynamic duo brought their trapeze talents to the UK, working with various circuses. Fast forward to 2005, and they took the plunge, establishing Big Kid Circus, a testament to their love for the art. But that wasn't enough for these trailblazers. In 2014, they expanded their horizons, introducing the enchanting Great British Circus to South East Asia. Now, they are the only circus with an annual tour in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, bringing the rich tapestry of British circus culture to the heart of Asia.

Meet the next generation: David, Julia, and Nicole. With David managing the logistical marvel of the circus, Julia revolutionizing circus arts through contemporary extensions, and young Nicole dreaming of a future wrapped in dance, acting, and circus, the Kirilov legacy is in safe hands.

Big Kid Circus isn't just about performances; it's a global family. With a team hailing from Cuba to Russia, Romania to Uzbekistan, we embrace diversity, fostering creative thinking that makes our circus truly unique. During the pandemic's dark days in 2020, our circus family faced hardships, but together, we weathered the storm. Gratitude flows to Arts Council England and the Cultural Recovery Grant, proving that even in challenging times, art can thrive with support.
