Christ Church Spitalfields Organ Concerts

After William Drake’s restoration of the Richard Bridge Organ, the instrument will be celebrated with a series of concerts in 2020. The performers will include; the church’s own director of music, Gerard Brooks; international concert organist, Henry Friars; John Wellingham; Isabelle Demers from Baylor University, Texas; James Johnston; and Stephen Farr. Repertoire will include works by Bach, Handel, Schumann, Frescobaldi, Purcell, Blow, Byrd, Stanley and William Russell. With one performance almost every month, everyone can get a chance to admire the extraordinary instrument at the hands of consummate musicians.
