London Concertante Perform Christmas Classics by Candlelight

Sonority abounds as London Concertante perform a selection of festive compositions at the grand setting of Sheffield Cathedral. The chamber ensemble present renditions of Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, Winter from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and pieces by Bach, Albinoni and Handel. The players will be joined by guest director and violinist Sulki Yu, soprano Elise Lefay and trumpeter William Cooper. Attendees (usually up to £25) can stay clued up thanks to a handy programme (£2) and will also be equipped with a CD single of the orchestra performing a set of classical standards (£3.99).
