Timeless tunes abound as Cole Porter’s enduring musical Anything Goes is brought to theatres once again by Stage Entertainment. The story centres upon Billy Crocker, a happy-go-lucky stowaway on an ocean liner who falls for Hope Harcourt, a glamorous heiress holidaying with her fiancee. Embarking on a mission to win Hope’s heart, Billy is aided by wise nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, hapless gangster Moonface Martin and many other memorable characters. The show premiered on Broadway in 1934 and introduced the world to such songs as ‘Take Me Back to Manhattan’, ‘I Get A Kick Out of You’ and the titular tune itself.
