The Event
Tearing across the UK in a fleet of growling trucks and revving bikes, The Extreme Torque Show entertains audiences with a cavalcade of powerful machines and dangerous feats. Monster truck drivers attempt to hurl their gargantuan 1500-horsepower vehicles over cars while motorcyclists perform daring displays of bravado with burnouts, wheelies and high-flying stunts. Further spectacle is provided by the BMX team pulling off trickery of their own, with the Extreme Drift series running throughout to showcase high-speed car control skills. Visitors (usually up to £15) can enter the site from 9am onwards, with the chance to explore the pits, go on fairground rides, and peruse market and food stands, all the while staying clued up thanks to a souvenir brochure (£5).
