About Horacio Lavandera
Horacio Lavandera won the III Umberto Micheli International Piano Competition at age 16 in 2001 held at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan. In 2015, his ECM album devoted to Dino Saluzzi's music earned recognition as one of the top 20 albums by critic Ted Gioia, featured in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Colin Clarke, in his review for FANFARE MAGAZINE, noted, 'His intelligence illuminates every aspect of his work
