Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of The Worlds

Based on Jeff Wayne’s original 1978 double album, this musical re-imagines H.G. Wells’s classic story about Martians invading Victorian England. The play features performing the iconic score on stage under the conduction of Jeff Wayne himself, as well as new music, video walls, the Martian Fighting Machine and a 3D holography of Liam Neeson as The Journalist. Jeff Wayne’s original record sold in over 15 million copies worldwide, and has been awarded the title of the Best Recording in Science Fiction and Fantasy by a jury consisting of Alfred Hitchcock, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.
