Peter Pan Goes Wrong
The West End’s hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong returns to the stage in J.M. Barrie’s classic Peter Pan, starring Henry Shields, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Lewis, among others. The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society members set out on a journey to Neverland but once again something goes wrong. The audiences may then expect technical issues, cast disputes and flying mishaps, all resulting in hilarious adventures onstage.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
In the heart of Piccadilly Circus, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is dedicated to the odd, inexplicable and bizarre. The site is home to over 700 weird and wonderful artefacts spread across six floors. Exhibits range from a collection of rare Amazonian shrunken heads and fossilised dinosaur eggs, to match stick models of the Titanic and Tower Bridge, and a prehistoric shark jaw. Visitors can see how they measure up to the world’s tallest man, take on a laser race and tackle a mirror maze, with the venue also boasting a gift shop to peruse. Tickets are available for dates throughout August, with visitors required to use the booking tool to pick their slot.
Planet Hollywood
Established first in New York by Bruce Willis and co, Planet Hollywood combines American fare with iconic film-making. The London branch is in the heart of the West End, and boasts a collection of memorabilia from films such as Grease and Star Wars. The interior of the restaurant aims to transport diners into the world of Hollywood using various film memorabilia as part of the decor and also boasting a live DJ each night.
