Love Cheese Live Festival
Grilled cheese sammies are not the only ones on the menu this summer at Staffordshire County Showground. Patrons may visit one of the erected theatres and watch for tips, recipes and kitchen hints served by a selection of celebrity and award-winning chefs, who are delighted to bring their best cheesiness to the table. Even the youngest ones can delight their tastebuds in the Children’s Cookery Theatre. Learn to match wine, cider and beer to favourite slice of stilton and gouda, imported from all over the country. The ammount of cheeses at the display for International Cheese and Dairy Awards can shake even those who aren’t lactose intolerant, so come over and experience what it is to be the best cheddar, halloumi or feta. All this set to atmospheric live music playing throughout the grounds where visitors can take a five to recharge the energy with the tunes and a choice of local street delicacies from the booths in the food zone.
