The Event
Broadway and West End smash hit Avenue Q makes its way to Crewe Lyceum Theatre this May. The show follows college graduate Princeton's attempts to discover his sense of purpose and adjust to new surroundings on Avenue Q, despite a tiny bank balance, a distractingly busty blonde, and most of his neighbours being foul-mouthed puppets. With a book by Jeff Whitty, music and lyrics were provided by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, to tackle thorny subjects such as joblessness, political incorrectness and sex. Tickets (usually £26 each) are available for one or two people, with the show intended for those aged 14 and up.
