The Centre
The French National Sea Centre of Nausicaá is a family-friendly attraction dedicated to raising awareness of the marine world. Based in Boulogne-sur-Mer, it boasts 50 aquariums and terrariums which are combined with digital presentation technology to provide an immersive and educational experience. Guests can check out more than 36,000 different species of animals including clownfish, turtles, sharks and jellyfish, as well as Californian sea lions and penguins. They can also experience an interactive oceanographic expedition featuring waves, storms, sea sprays and rolling sensations. An adult ticket (usually £12.88) comes with a tea or coffee (£2), while a child ticket (£8.04) includes a juice drink (£2).
