An Evening with Alan Shearer
Football fans can spend an evening in the company of Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer. One of Newcastle and England’s most famous number nines, Shearer spent ten years at St James’ Park after joining for a then record £15 million from Blackburn Rovers, where he’d previously won the Premier League title. He spent ten years at the Toon, scoring a club high 206 goals in 404 appearances. Over the course of his playing career he also netted 260 times in the Premier League, the highest for any player, and was capped 63 times for his country. He will be recalling memorable moments from his career and discussing his ups and downs. The meeting will last four hours.
