Nile Rodgers & Chic
Nile Rodgers, the co-founder of Chic and multiple Grammy winner and nominee, visits Northampton with his signature eclectic mash-up of musical styles. Rodgers’s songwriting talent won Chic eleven Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominations, and brought about hits such as Le Freak, Good Times and I Want Your Love, not to mention the likes of Let’s Dance by David Bowie or Material Girl by Madonna, all bearing Rodgers’s mark. Now that Chic has announced their return, and have released a new album called It’s About Time, Nile Rodgers’s artistic versatility is celebrated as they perform their best-known pop anthems as well as their new material.
