* Adult = 16+
* No age restriction, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket
* Child (4–15 yrs) Day Rover Tickets are included free for travel on Standard Services until 24th September 2025
* Valid for red and blue timetables only

* Dogs are welcome on standard daily service trains
* £3 per dog, per day
* Dogs must be kept off the seats and tables
* Pay at ticket office
* Passengers can hop on and hop off at all stops along the route after collecting their train ticket
* Trains can be busy, so it is advised to arrive at least 45 minutes before your desired travel time
* All stations have their own car park except Whitby, which has several public car parks nearby
