Game and Country Fair

Sedgefield Racecourse plays host to the Game and Country Fair, from 10 to 11 July. Guests can enjoy activities such as clay pigeon shooting, a ferret and pet show, magic shows and balloon modelling. There will also be arts and crafts exhibits, displays such as terrier racing and sheep sheering, food and drink stalls as well as clothing and jewellery on sale. 

Afternoon tea includes a selection of finger sandwiches, including ham and ale chutney and egg mayonnaise, served alongside assorted cakes such as lemon drizzle or Victoria sponge. The spread also includes scones with cream and jam, mini dessert pots, mini Battenburg, chocolate brownies, strawberries and a pot of English, Earl Grey, darjeeling or assam tea.
