The Ale House
Directed by Sylvie Gatrill, The Ale House features a talented cast, including Lindzi Germain (Sex and the Suburbs and Hitchhikers Guide to Fazakerley) as the brassy landlady who takes no messing, George Wilson (Grange Hill and Brookside) as Kick Off, and Jake Abrahams (Twopence to Cross the Mersey and Council Depot Blues) as Trevor. The comedy presents a local and its regulars with their unusual stories. Laughs should start from the first pint pulled when viewers see the World War I pensioner still recovering from shell shock and continue with more visitors causing of all kinds of drunk and disorderly mayhem.
