The Festival of Quilts
The Festival of Quilts sees Birmingham’s NEC host a quilting extravaganza, with 20 galleries and hundreds of quilts on display this August. The event offers a range of competition categories to suit new and experienced quilters, as well as a plethora of exhibitors showcasing some of their latest products. Attendees can take part in a variety of workshops, talks and lectures, and see experts demonstrate their favourite quilting techniques. Newly-added highlights include The Japanese Pavilion and the Sewing Quarter Live that’s expected to feature top guest designers, exclusive projects and plenty of audience participation.
