The Vikings are Coming!
The Tutbury castle grounds are once again hosting a sieging Viking tribe. Recalling the real events that happened at a nearby Hanbury convent, the actors in life-like viking outfits lighten up the dark history with an event designed for the whole family. Authentic crafts, skills and pastimes of old tribes are demonstrated and combat displays also take place. Attendees can partake in a guided history tour to learn more about the past events or stay in the present with one of the other available activities.
