Spectacled shoppers can benefit from two new pairs of glasses courtesy of Glasses Direct. Customers can pick from the two-for-one range with ‘Cowboy’, ‘Prague’ and ‘Daisy’ frames (all usually £55) on offer. Alternatively, the £55 can be spent towards designer brand frames such as Duck and Cover (£95), Scout (£75) and even John Lennon antiques (£125).  Single vision prescription lenses which are basic and uncoated are included with all eyewear. Bifocal lenses are available for an additional £30 and varifocals for £70. Thinner lenses, tints and coatings can also be offered with extra cost.

Glasses Direct began in 2004 when Jamie Murray Wells set himself the mission of discovering why designer eyewear was so expensive. After identifying that the mark-up on glasses was huge, Glasses Direct was born to offer standard and designer glasses at reasonable prices.
