The Deal
Getting a controlled taste of amateur aeronautics, guests with GlideSport UK will take to the skies for approximately 20 (usually £45) or 40 (£99) minutes of glider taster. Following a safety briefing and refreshments including hot chocolate and tea, visitors will take flight over the rural Warwickshire landscape. They'll head up into the skies in a dual controlled aircraft with an instructor at their side, before gliding serenely back down to earth with the engine switched off. Clients will receive an emailed certificate to commemorate the experience after the flight, and an annual membership (usually £130) letting them return at any time in the next year to fly at a reduced rate.

The Merchant
Stratford Upon Avon's GlideSport UK has been providing gliding and flying experiences since 2006, and moved to its current location at Long Marston Airfield in 2011. They offer trial lessons and train students who wish to gain their glider or power pilot's licence. GlideSport UK mainly uses SF25c Limbach Falkes, allowing the student to sit next to the pilot, and get a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
