Option 1 : Wheel Pottery Taster Session for One Person

This one-hour wheel pottery taster session for one person in a small group of no more than 6 students each working on individual pottery wheels. The session comprises a 10 minute masterful tutor demonstration on how to make a small cylinder and then its hands-on practice with support as your practice centering and pottery throwing basics.

You can choose to have your favourite pieces fired and glazed for an additional £10/pot payable on the day. Pieces will be ready for collection approximately 4-5 weeks later.

Option 2 : Wheel Pottery Taster Session for Two People

This one-hour wheel pottery taster session for two people in a small group of no more than 6 students each working on individual pottery wheels. The session comprises a 10 minute masterful tutor demonstration on how to make a small cylinder and then its hands-on practice with support as your practice centering and pottery throwing basics.

You can choose to have your favourite pieces fired and glazed for an additional £10/pot payable on the day. Pieces will be ready for collection approximately 4-5 weeks later.

We use stoneware clay and food safe glazes so any pieces that you choose to be kiln-fired can be used in the oven, microwave or dishwasher.

Once fired pieces are kept for a maximum of 3 months. Children aged 10+ can attend but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
