Those looking to enhance their public speaking ability can undertake a 30-module course led by TV presenter Gyles Brandreth and his son Benet, twice named the World Public Speaking Champion. Covering structure, content, style and performance, the course includes topics such as wedding speeches, business presentations, how to pace speeches, adding humour and personalisation, as well as body language. There are also downloadable materials for students to peruse offline, with a certificate provided upon successful completion of the course. Participants will have up to one year to complete the course.

The Merchant

Created in 2013 by studio owner Hugh Edwards and voiceover guru Peter Dickson, Gravy for the Brain runs a range of online and classroom-based courses, suitable for beginners and advanced students. These include voiceover performance and acting, and recording music at home or in studio. Modules can be accessed on home computer, laptops and tablets, and a customer service team is on hand to answer queries.
