The Deal

Not-so-easy riders can improve their two-wheeled skills with Harley’s Rider Training. First customers will receive an introductory lesson (usually £35) that covers the basics needed to feel confident on the roads. This lesson includes move off and stop, gear changing, slow control, figure 8 exercises and u-turns. After the lesson guests can book in for the CBT (£100) which entitles drivers to ride unsupervised as a learner on the roads for up to two years. The trainer will asses how much control the rider has over the bike during the course’s five modules and determine at the end whether more training is needed or motorbikes can be mounted for solo riding.

The Merchant

Harley’s Rider Training aim to get their customers passionate about two-wheeled transport. They offer courses from CBT (compulsory basic training) to direct access, A2 restricted to advanced rider training, and instructor courses. Their instructors are all DSA (driving standards agency) approved and well-versed in the art of motorcycle moving.
