On a visit to The Hippodrome Casino’s first floor Heliot Bar, customers can experience the excitement of the casino with a burger and a beer or wine. House burgers are served with Monterey Jack cheese, grilled bacon, dill pickle and fries (£7.25) accompanied by a choice of draught beer or house wine (usually up to £5.50). Heliot Bar overlooks the casino floor within this former theatre in the heart of the West End.

The Merchant

The Hippodrome Casino London occupies a prime location on Leicester Square, immersed in the tireless energy of the West End. The international-style venue’s entertainment and gaming facilities are spread across four floors, which boast the PokerStars LIVE deck, a cabaret and music area, six bars, a restaurant and a smoking terrace.

The casino took up residence within the Hippodrome Theatre in 2012. On the doorstep of Chinatown, the original building has a rich heritage stretching back to 1900, when it was established as a circus variety theatre that saw performances from the likes of Harry Houdini, as well as the initial opening of Swan Lake. By the 1950s, the venue was operating as the Talk of the Town, where a variety of major stars took to the stage. Today, devoted and casual gamers alike can try their luck in the extensive gaming areas, enjoy a theatre performance, or tuck into a hearty meal at Bookatable’s ‘Best Steak Restaurant in London’, the award-winning Heliot Steak House.
