The Deal
Potential pilots can take to the skies in a four seat light aircraft with the Leicester Aero Club. The experience will take off with a safety and instructions briefing before embarking on a 20-minute sky exploration. The experience will be documented by a certificate that can count towards the required flying time for a full pilot's licence. After the flight, the group can get their land legs back with seasonal refreshments served in the clubhouse.
The Merchant
The Leicestershire Aero Club has been departing from Leicester airport since the early 1950s and as a club has been up and running since 1909. They aim to realise peoples' dreams of being able to fly with the CAA approved flight training organisation. As well as introductory flights they hold night courses, aerobatics, flying companion and flight instructor courses. Here, budding high-flyers will be able to obtain their private pilots licence as well as their commercial pilot licence.
