The Merchant

Crystal chandeliers, gilded wall hangings and quirky taxidermy are just a few of the features at Les Trois Garcons, where classic French cuisine meets decadent British surrounds. Chefs from Malaysia, France, and Sweden were attracted to the quintessential Englishness of the former Victorian pub, and purchased it in 1996, turning the Shoreditch haunt into an upscale fusion restaurant in 2000. They also run a nearby antique and vintage interiors shop on Redchurch Street, as well as Loungelover, just behind the restaurant.
