The school of magic room could do with a refresh. The map on the wall has been used so many times, it's completely worn out which ruins what you have to do. All of the clues can only be read by scanning a QR code so make sure you have plenty of battery life in your phones! Some of the clues are as clear as mud so it did start getting boring at one point. A really good tip you should take note of (which we weren't told) start from clue 1 then 2 and so on. When we went into the room, we were all in a panic so didn't realise things were meant to be done in a sequence, have to admit, it kind of ruined it where in the end, the lady who works there just came in and showed us the clues. I hope my review helps others to enjoy it a bit more because it's not exactly cheap and I feel we didnt get the experience we paid for.
Avoid at all cost! Worst escape room we have ever done, clues made no sense, hard to hear the voice over, place was dirty and they actually locked us in and then couldn’t open the door!
This was fun and it's good to be able to experience it without making a mess in your own home or garden (balls go everywhere).
I wouldn't like to have played an escape room at the same time in this venue as the shooting is loud as were we with general talking and such.
I left a separate review for their Prisoner escape room (don't do it).
I will leave a separate review for Airsoft (which was decent) but we also went to play the Prisoner escape room and it is on par with the worst escape room I've ever played which was rock bottom. I can tell it was a better escape room before as elements were missing, electronics were not working, there wasn't a story, you have to do random things that are not linked so you have to listen to hints on a walkie talkie which is rubbish as you can barely hear what they're saying.
Literally a whole piece was missing for us to finish the puzzle so they manually pushed us through one part.
Hint for the Prisoner. Don't play it. If you do, use your mobile phone even though the video tells you not to, they MEAN for you to use it because the room is basically broken.
Shooting range experience was fun!
The two ladies, Deborah & Isabella working there were amazing, helpful, patient & fun to be around.
After getting lost, Deborah was so caring and helped us locate the place. We all had fun during the shooting range experience and hope to be back again.
Both children and adults loved it (school of magic). 60 minutes of fun, solving mystery was a challenge but we solved it with 6 minutes remaining.
Lovely customer service. I wasn't sure if it would be suitable for children under 14 so I called up many times asking questions. Poor guy most probably got sick and tired of me. Sorry for calling up numerous times.
Finding the place was difficult however, the assistants were very helpful and informative over the phone. We definitely will be going again! Thank you to the guy on the phone and the young lady at the Escape Room!
My husband and I didnt know quite what to expect. However, once we got there and had our safety training on how to use the guns, wore our safety goggles and optional uniforms for fun it was all go!. Very competitive. Brilliant fun for all ages. Amazing friendly staff who looked after us well. We loved it so much we have booked to go again!
