The Big Day
Standing in 280 acres of parkland and gardens, the award-winning Mellington Hall offers a chance to celebrate within striking 19th-century Gothic architecture, complete with features such as the original grand staircase and views across to the ancient landmark of Offa’s Dyke. Wedding co-ordinator Kim Evans will work closely with the happy couple on everything from the menu to the music, ensuring that no detail, however small, is overlooked. Following the civil ceremony, up to 50 guests will be able to toast the happy couple with a glass of sparkling wine each at a three-course wedding breakfast, with tea or coffee and a glass of house wine. An evening buffet will also be provided for up to 80 guests, so they can keep the party going. The bride and groom will be able to spend the remainder of the night in the bridal suite which includes a four-poster bed and a double Jacuzzi bath, with breakfast available the next morning.
