A twist can be placed on the traditional game with a round of frisbee golf. Suitable for first-timers and all ages, the game originated in America in the 1970s and involves groups navigating ten holes from tee-off point to basket, replacing clubs and balls with flying discs. The idea of the game is to get a disc into a metal basket in as few throws as possible. The venue plays host to courses for beginners, intermediates, and professionals, and players can play whichever they want, as many times as they like throughout their visit. After a quick briefing, each guest receives a professional disc, scorecards, pencils, maps and instructions.
Fine Print

The course is open in all weather conditions but please dress appropriately. Sun protection is advised during the summer months. Suitable footwear, such as wellies or walking boots, are advised at all times. The course is playable during daylight hours when the centre is open. Allow at least one hour to play the course. All participants will need to allow enough time to return to the centre before the closing time. Frisbee Golf is open to all ages and abilities. It is set in rural woodland which may be uneven underfoot. The course is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads. The full-day pass allows customers to play as many times as they like in one day. There is no refund or discount available for fewer than 4 players. Players can be any age. Located near Bristol and set in the picturesque Mendip Hills, Mendip Activity Centre features a 165-metre ski slope, woodland disc golf course, rock sport quarry and a rooftop cafe and bar.
