About This Deal
The Deal
Aspiring equestrians have the opportunity to explore pastoral Cheshire on horseback during a trek through 200 acres of farmland for one, two or four people. Depending on their confidence, riders can trot, canter or gallop around the foot of Lyme Park, taking in the English countryside and perhaps even spotting some local wildlife along the way. Groups will consist of one instructor per five horses, and hats and/or body protectors are available to hire for £1 each.
The Merchant
Mill Farm Riding School and Trekking Centre, located in Stockport, offers an assortment of horse-related activities, including treks and riding lessons. The centre is also child friendly, with special children's days and parties available. On Mill Farm's 'full days', riders can expect a two hour ride in the morning, followed by a barbecue lunch and more riding in the afternoon, helping budding Ascot champions to gain confidence at the reins. Prospective visitors can also get to know Marzibits, Tilly, Bobby and others in advance by visiting Mill Farm's Meet the Horses page.
