This course is designed to provide au pairs with useful information, tasks, and activities to assist them looking after children. There are 5 units covering: understanding routines, child development, health and safety, risks around the home, planning trips and activities with children, and healthy eating. Knowledge is tested with short assignments, creative tasks involving social media, and ‘test your knowledge’ quizzes. Everything is delivered online, and students are encouraged to draw on their au pair experiences as they work through the course at their own pace.
