Inspired by the eponymous private social club which was set up for British colonialists in Kenya in the nineteenth century. The Mombasa Club was located opposite the island of Zanzibar and so was in a key trading location. With all the British people living in the area, the club offered an exclusive gin imported from England for the pleasure of its members. Now that gin has been re-created according to the original formula and made available for everyone to try.
