About Myer’s
Myer’s has a long and proud history dedicated to making comfortable beds dating back to 1876, when founded by Horatio Myer. Manufacturing beds way back when Queen Victoria reigned, Myer’s survived not only the dawn of the 20th century, but the 21st as well. This is testament to the company’s vast wealth of experience and ability to stay at the forefront of emerging technology.
Their original Vauxhall Walk location in London was where Myer’s manufactured their mattresses until 1982. That year marked the moving of their facility to Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire which is where Myer’s continues to makes its beds today.
In 2013, Myer’s became part of Steinhoff UK Bedding Group which has allowed Myer’s to grow as a company, with great investment in their Huntingdon manufacturing facilities and transport fleet. Approved by the National Bed Federation and remaining true to its heritage, clients can rest assure that their Myer’s bed is manufactured with the highest of quality standards, giving the honest value for money.
