Preparing Nails:
- Prepping the nails thoroughly is essential to ensure a long-lasting and chip-free gel manicure
- Gently push back the cuticle using Mylee stainless steel cuticle pusher and remove any non-living tissue if necessary
- Gently remove the surface shine of the nail using a buffer
- File and shape the free edge of the nails
- Cleanse the nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in Mylee prep + wipe
- Make sure there is no oily residue left
Gel Application:
- Shake the bottle to blend
- Apply a thin coat of Mygel base coat to the nails, ensuring the free edge is capped
- Cure for two minutes under a UV lamp
- Apply a thin layer of your favourite Mygel colour to the nails and cap the free edge
- Cure for two minutes under a UV lamp
- Repeat to build colour
- Apply a thin layer of Mygel topcoat to the nails and cap the free edge
- Cure for two minutes under a UV lamp
- Remove the sticky layer by wiping the nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in Mylee prep + wipe
