About Nurtaj
Its name meaning Crown to the King of Kings, Nurtaj restaurant brings the art of low-fat cooking style and dining rituals of ancient Indian nobility to Aberdeen. Preparing all dishes using the traditional charcoal methods, the experienced kitchen team strives to bring out the distinctive flavours to their full power in a selection of well-known dishes like biryanis, curries and shashliks, as well as a choice of chef's signatures. Diners can make themselves comfortable in a simply decorated dining room, sporting some rustic wooden accents and offering a choice of traditional or bench seating. The many hanging and standing wine shelves lend a subtle winery feel to the place and remind guests of an option to add drinks to their meals. The venue can be found only a short walk away from Bon Accord Terrace Gardens.
