What is a dental implant and crown?

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement and is used to resemble a tooth. A titanium implant is fitted to hold the crown in place, with bone augmentation performed in preparation if needed and with a surcharge.

What happens at sessions?

A consultation will be carried out in advance, and if the client is found to be suitable, the implant and crown will be placed at a subsequent treatment session. Radiographic images will be taken.

What preparation is required?

Clients are advised to maintain good dental hygiene and resolve any tooth decay or gum problems beforehand, possibly visiting a hygienist to ensure teeth are in optimum condition for dental work.
