- Hebe Red Edge is a versatile perennial
- Produces unusual, evergreen foliage in shades of blue-grey-green with a delicate red edge
- During the winter months the red edge becomes more prominent offering much-needed colour in the garden
- In late summer and autumn, an abundance of short stems holds lilac-blue flower spikes which fade to white as they mature
- Ideal for creating a colourful, low-growing, informal, evergreen, flowering hedge
- Alternatively, plant in the front of borders or large patio containers
- Happy planted in coastal sites and drought tolerant
- Supplied as a pot grown plant in a 9cm nursery pot
- For best performance position in a sunny spot in well-drained soil
- Hardy to around -10 C this perennial needs no frost protection in most of the UK
- At maturity expect a height of 45cm (18in) with a spread of 60cm (24in)
