No problem! You'll get hands-on guidance every step of the way as you create your own beautiful silver pendant
What We Offer:
- Silver Pendant Jewellery Making Experience for 1,2,3,or 4
You will be shown how to create a stunning tiered heart pendant using a variety of skills and techniques.
The session will guide you, step by step and you’ll learn the following skills:
Setting up your workstation
Handling and how to store the clay.
How to add textures
How to shape and cut the clay.
How to dry and refine your pieces
Joining silver clay components
Learn about the different firing methods
How to drill your silver
How to polish and finish your pieces.
Everything we make in the session will be fired in the kiln and, although we have a strict firing schedule, there will be plenty of making time and plenty of time to polish and finish your jewellery. Whilst our pieces are being fired, we will do a demonstration on torch firing silver clay jewellery. This is the most cost effective way of continuing your metal clay journey without the expense of a kiln.
When you're finished we will show you how to attach a bail and a chain to your pendant.

About Pepper Tree Studio
Pepper Tree Studio runs art and craft related events specialising in silver clay jewellery workshops. The business was set up by silver clay artist and jeweller, Richard Allen, who has been creating jewellery for nearly 40 years. Richard has had his work on display at various exhibitions throughout the UK and Japan. Our most popular workshops are our beginner classes that are ideal for those with no experience of working with silver clay but would love to make their own jewellery. We hold many of our workshops at our Hull studio and all tools and materials are provided including silver clay to get you started. Our taster workshops are a great introduction to the magic of silver clay and will set you up ready to take one of our follow on courses such as ring making and keum boo.
