Welcome to Levi, Finland's largest ski resort, located about 60 miles north of the Arctic Circle.

Lapland is the perfect place to relax while also enjoying exciting experiences, such as trying out various activities, including snowmobiling, reindeer safaris, and dog sledding.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LAPLAND AT LEVI

Arrive at Kittila airport and transfer to your hotel.
Located in Lapland, 170 km north of the Arctic Circle, Levi is at the heart of the Fell, a pure region of vast wilderness.

DAY 2: SNOWMOBILE SAFARI (2 HR)

Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Your instructor will give you an initial introduction to snowmobiling and safety instructions. You will be issued with safety equipment and take possession of your snowmobiles. Depart for a safari in the Tundra, supervised by your experienced guide, who will keep a close eye on your safety. You'll progress by snowmobile through snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes. Enjoy a peaceful stop for a hot berry juice. Return by snowmobile.

DAY 3: DOG-SLEDDING EXPERIENCE (1.8 MILES)

Today, an unmissable Lapland experience!

Discover the Husky, the emblematic animal of the polar regions, on a husky safari. Once you arrive at the Husky farm, you'll receive the usual instructions on how to handle the dogs, before setting off on a 3 km mini safari. Visit the farm and enjoy a hot drink and cookies.

DAY 4: LAINIO SNOW VILLAGE

Departure for a visit to the Lainio Snow Village.

On arrival at the Snow Village, you'll be greeted by a huge snow igloo housing the ice hotel rooms, ice bar, chapel and snow restaurant.

Your guide will show you around the village made entirely of snow, and tell you fascinating stories about how it came to be. Enjoy a juice at the ice bar and take time out for your own tour to admire all the incredible snow and ice sculptures.

DAY 5: FREE DAY - SAUNA, SKIING, OR OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

You can go skiing on the slopes just 300m from your hotel, do a little shopping in the village or choose one of our many optional activities to discover the treasures of the region.

DAY 6: REINDEER FARM AND SLEIGH RIDE (1 KM)

Depart from Levi to a reindeer farm for a taste of traditional Lapland!

Reindeer husbandry is an important source of income in Lapland. Reindeer are semi-wild animals, living freely in the forests, and are herded only twice a year.

At the farm, the herder will have carefully chosen a group of reindeer trained to pull a sled, where you'll settle in comfortably for a walk of around 1 km through the heart of nature. You'll have the chance to feed the reindeer lichen and try your hand at lassoing reindeer antlers.

Back at the farm, you'll enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to stories about the reindeer before returning to Levi by coach.

DAY 7: CABLE-CAR RIDE TO SAMILAND EXHIBITIONS

This morning, depart on foot from your hotel to the foot of the ski slopes, from where you'll take the "Gondola " (cable car) to the heights of Levi to the Samiland exhibition, retracing the history of Europe's only indigenous people: the Sami. From the top, if the weather is clear, you can enjoy views over the village of Levi and the surrounding area.

IDENTITY

Please be sure to verify that your necessary Identification documents (passport and/or ID card dependent upon the country to which you will be travelling) have valid expiration dates, i.e. verify your ID documents have not yet expired.
