DAY 1 | YOUR ARRIVAL IN CARTAGENA

DAY 2 | OFF TO THE MAGDALENA REGION

Private transport Cartagena - Tayrona Park. Journey time: around 5 hours 15 minutes.

DAY 3 | TAYRONA NATIONAL PARK

Free day at the park where you can hike along one of the trails, swim, horse ride or hire snorkelling equipment on site (not included). Admission not included.

DAY 4 | TAIRONAKA

Transport from Tayrona Park (El Zaino / Barlovento) to Don Diego. Journey time: approx. 15 minutes. Taironaka is a prime location on the banks of the Don Diego river, where we can relax and discover the indigenous culture of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, past and present. Set amidst the countryside are the terraces of what was once an ancient Tayrona village. The guide takes us through the history of the area, at the same time pointing out the region's flora and fauna. The site also features a small Tayrona museum with unique pieces. From the car park we take a boat to the site, which takes around 15 minutes. Here we can enjoy a view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We'll stay in sight of the river throughout the day so that we can swim in it whenever we like. Following the visit to Taironaka, there will be a short 1h30 hike in the forest, followed by a float trip down the river to the Taironaka site. Finally, we return by boat to the vehicle. DAY 5 | HEAD TO MINCA

Private transport will take you from Tayrona Park to Mundo Nuevo. Journey time: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

DAY 7 | HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR OF CARTAGENA

A car will take you from Mundo Nuevo to Cartagena. Journey time: approximately 5h30mn. Let's follow in the footsteps of famous pirates and discover the 'Pearl of the Caribbean', a city with an exotic, mixed heritage whose wealth of culture is bound to amaze you. This excursion through the streets of the beautiful town of **Cartagena takes us back to colonial times, with its colourful houses and lively parks. This is your chance to step back in time and relive some of the defining moments in the city's history, the second most important Spanish stronghold on the South American continent. Cartagena was repeatedly attacked by pirates, the most famous of the attackers being Francis Drake, branded a pirate by the Spanish and known as El Draque! We discover the beauty of its monuments, its squares, its churches, and its walls, witness to times gone by but still defying the horizon... and we wonder what it was like to resist the pirate hordes... Duration: 4 hours

DAY 8 | LA BOQUILLA: TRADITIONAL FISHING

For those who love adventure and meeting local people somewhere off the beaten track. Early departure from your hotel for La Boquilla. Arrival in this fishing village, home to an Afro-Carthaginian community. The locals share with us traditional fishing techniques: net fishing and crab fishing. We then discover the secrets of coastal cuisine and learn how to cook fish and crabs accompanied by coconut rice. We can then sample your catch as we eat with the family of the fisherman accompanying us. Return to Cartagena in the early afternoon. Transport: 20 min. Duration: approximately 6 hours.

DAY 10 | MUCURA ISLAND

Transfer from the hotel to the pier ** Journey time: approximately 15 minutes. **The San Bernardo archipelago is located two hours by motorboat from the coast of Cartagena. Visitors can enjoy the charms of these islands, especially an amazing underwater experience, as the San Bernardo Coral National Natural Park is a reserve for the local coral reefs. Departure by speedboat at around 11am for Mucura Island, an island paradise in the San Bernardo archipelago off Cartagena. Reception at the Punta Faro hotel, where we will be welcomed with a cocktail. Free afternoon to enjoy this magical place, sunbathe on the beach, dive into the crystal-clear waters...

IDENTITY
